The WiSENT 2 is a multi-functional vehicle platform: it provides a support vehicle that was specially developed for current operations and deployment scenarios. Due to its modular design, it can be converted from an Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) to an Armoured Engineer Vehicle (AEV) in less than five hours. In the ARV configuration a crane is able to load up to 32 tons and a 40 ton main winch; and in its AEV configuration, the WiSENT 2 supports an arm excavator for moving up to 300 cubic meters of earth per hour. → ffg-flensburg.de
